i recently visited the Ministry of Information,Communications and the Arts headquarters at Hill Street and i stumbled upon a photographic exhibition called Canvas, specially commissioned for the VIP delegates of the International Monetary Fund-World Bank meeting in Singapore in September 2006. 14 photographers took part in this exhibition, each with their personalised interpretation of a given theme to suggest possibilities of how Singapore as a city could be experienced. If you wish to take a look at the photographs, approach me alright =)

for my bluefoam project, i intended to file out a dog's head with a snake's body but complications occured so i decided to make do with a snake but with a classy touch as i'll be putting a fedora hat on it. hehe.

this is my drawing of crumpled paper. personally, i don't think its one of my best works because i didn't concentrate on this. i just post it up for the sake of getting a good grade for media =)

we had to draw teddy bears using charcoal.

this is my apple drawings. basically, i have to use a viewfinder and an apple, and draw different angles, along with closeups. i kinda drew it like a comic strip. NOT intentional of course, so if you want to see it closer, just click on the thumbnail.

omg, that is huge. im not very sure what it is called but its freaking awesome. nature is indeed beautiful.

i like this shot alot, 'cause at that time i just felt like taking a photo of something nice and when i took this shot, i knew that eventhough the place was dark, light still crept in and illuminated the room..in a way, the good always prevail =)

a surreal painting by a surrealist painter. i like the details and the colours match superbly.

i dunno whether i should call this a drawing project or a painting project..maybe drawing cum painting project..HAHA, okay so i was supposed to do 5 paintings at the walls behind the lockers but there was no space for me..so i did it on an A3 acrylic paper..

hmmm, i found this awesome image at www.deviantart.com. ok i know you can't see the image now so just click on the above and it will lead you to the webpage of the image. it will of course show the person's deviantart profile and..umm..anyways, what made me drool about this image is because there is a really nice effect with the combination of green and black. if you see carefully, the left hand is placed exactly above the design that follows the hand. the tattoo gives a rough look to this picture. simply awesome.

hey guys, i've decided to write about what i've gone through for the past few days for today's posting instead of the usual posting of putting my semester 1 art works up. ok so let's start with friday. anyways, friday was pretty hectic i must say, like for example, things that shouldn't happen happened and..it was quite weird la. haha. well, i was there to prevent something that happened from becoming worse and i believe that my 'friend' was grateful for that. maybe i was just at the right place at the right time.

so yesterday my two friends and I spent at the night somewhere, just chilling..but i have to say that it was quite boring. i really felt like going home but since it was a saturday night, i should probably loosen up a little. anyways, we chilled till the next day and waited for the first bus to arrive. i came home half dead and crashed onto my bed. man, my bed never felt so heavenly. ahhhh.

i really like the look of this cat. its as if she's pleading to you to do something for her and her eyes give this shining glow which makes you go, 'awwwwww...'



okay so this is andy warhol, the ever popular man who dealt with pop culture. i drew this with the image from the cover of his book..can't remember which..
